Between my study period in France and my final M.Arch Thesis year I had the opportunity to take on an internship in Shanghai with Renew Architecture + Planning. I was tasked with contributing to the design development of a hotel which would incorporate a Sugar factory that had been recently restored by Renew. The beautiful context of the Yangshuo region and my daily cultural exchanges with colleagues helped inform my approach to this work.
