Thermal Baths and Accommodation in the unique L'Ardeche Region of Southern France. My Approach was to create a cavernous atmosphere which resembled the famous ancient caves nearby at Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc. Simultaneaouly the form of the project was a re-interpretation of the terraced hillsides synonymous with the regions. Users would emerge from the deep, meditative and regenerative interiors to the open and more active functions of the upper terraces.
